Two fantastic days of family fun as Craigtoun Park's Country Fayre returns

The annual Craigtoun Park Country Fayre is back this weekend to mark the start of the school holidays.

The free event, which features a wide array of activities for the whole family to enjoy, runs on both Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 from 10.30am to 5pm.

Organised by the Friends of Craigtoun Park, the country fayre is always popular with locals and visitors alike.

As well as the regular seasonal attractions at the park, there will also be live entertainment, a selection of stalls from charities and small craft businesses, face painting, vintage tractors and the Bowbridge Alpacas.

There will be storytelling sessions and the ‘Jolly Jigglers’ both days.

On Saturday, entertainment will be provided by Cupar District Pipe Band and Jamie the Jester. The model boat club will be by the small pond and the Sunshine Kitchen Garden will be open.

While on Sunday, the Yvonne Gray School of Dance will be putting on a display and the City of St Andrews Pipe Band will be in the park. Ancrum Outdoor Centre will also be offering archery practice.

Tickets for the big Craigtoun Country Fayre raffle will be on sale at the weekend, before Willie Rennie MSP picks the winner at around 4pm on Sunday.
