Concerns have been voiced about the latest vaccination figures, which show Fife falling behind the rest of Scotland.

The data published by Public Health Scotland on Wednesday showed the number of individuals who have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination, with Fife below the Scottish average at only 8.28 per cent compared to a national average of 9.14 per cent of the population.North East Fife MSP Willie Rennie has raised concerns about the lower number of vaccinations and is seeking an explanation from the Scottish Government.Mr Rennie said: “The vaccine is part of the route out of this pandemic and the risk to life, the economy and our way of life.“I have a duty to ask questions about the roll out and I will do that with NHS Fife when I meet them on Friday.“We need an explanation and an assurance that there are sound plans to catch up with the rest of Scotland and the rest of the U.K.”
