Groups combine to help promote golf across the kingdom
Fife Golf, an organisation created to help boost the profile of the sport in the Kingdom locally, nationally and internationally, has teamed up with Fife Council tourism groups and Welcome to Fife to create #fifegolffest21.
#fifegolffest21 is a six-month campaign that will showcase the excellent golf and non-golf experiences available on offer across the region.

Stephen Owen, chair of Fife Golf, said: "It’s been an incredibly tough year and the #fifegolffest21 campaign aims to help support businesses and organisations across the region as they reopen following well documented challenges of the last 12 months.
"Fife Golf has always had a very close working relationship with Fife Council and the festival is yet another excellent example of how effectively both organisations work together for the benefit of all tourism related businesses across the region."
The golf festival will be supported by a new area on the www.visitfifegolf.com website that offers a section for event promotion across a number of different sectors, including golf, food and drink, cultural and experiences. Mr Owen added that #golffestival21 will allow businesses to reach the Fife golf audience through business promotion and via events and offers.

Sandra Montador-Stewart, service manager economy, tourism and town centres with Fife Council added: "We are delighted to be working with Fife Golf to promote Fife again.
"As the tourism industry starts to open up once again and welcome people back, this is an ideal opportunity to showcase the fantastic golfing offer we have as well as the other aspects of our tourism offering which make the kingdom such a popular destination."
