Roads flooded and warnings for motorists as heavy rain hits Fife
Large amounts of melting snow, coupled with heavy rainfall overnight and this morning has left a number of roads flooded forcing many motorists to find alternative routes.
The B9157 close to Orrock Quarry is flooded in several places, while many motorists on the B921 between Aberdour and Burntisland were also forced to turn back because the road was been made impassable.

Hide AdA spokesman for Fife Council has advised motorists across the region to drive with caution with routes “passable with care”.
At present the Fife authority is advising of just one road closure, that of the B925 Auchtertool to Mossmorran road because of drifting snow.
The Met Office have a Yellow warning in place for heavy rain and snow today across the region, with snow mainly over high ground but wet snow to low levels for a time.
Some surface water flooding is also possible at low levels and significant falls of snow over the hills.
