Selfess acts in St Andrews celebrated
Community Aid St Andrews was started last week, giving people in the area a place to share information and offer/seek help from locals.
In a break from negative news, members of the Facebook page were asked at the weekend to talk about people or groups who have done selfless acts for others.

Chris Wallard, one of the founders of the group, started off the thanks: “I’d like to thank Steve Linton and the Beavers and Cubs for starting to draw pictures and write letters to all the local care homes. Just such a lovely, simple, kind thing to do!”
Balnacarron care home in St Andrews thanked various local groups and individuals for their help, such as Golf City Taxis, which offered to collect and deliver prescriptions for free, and St Andrews Brewing Co. for providing cases of beer and garden games for the residents.
Another member of the group praised all locals: “I would like to thank the whole of St Andrews for pulling together and supporting and helping friends, family, neighbours and complete strangers during this horrific time, keep up the good work St Andrews.”
More stories will be shared each Saturday.
