"I chose the charity as a few of my workmates and friends have been struggling with mental health issues during lockdown.
"I run everyday as it helps me to clear my head - it helps me a lot mentally."
Not only did Kevin complete the challenge to raise cash for charity, but to also try to motivate people to get out and exercise as a way to help deal with mental health issues.

"All some people need is a little motivation to get started."
Unfortunately, Kevin’s family don’t share his enthusiasm for extreme running challenges.
"My wife and kids think I’m off my head,” he added. “But running helps me and if I can help a worthy cause at the same time I’m happy.
"I ran my first marathon recently as well.

"By the time I had got to Kinglassie, I had only done 18 of the 26 miles for the marathon and thought to myself, ‘what have I got myself into?’
“When I finally made it back to my house, my wife shouted out the window asking what I was doing.
"I shouted back to her telling her to throw me a bottle of water as I still had two more miles to go!”
