Three men have been arrested after a large cannabis farm was discovered in a Fife property.

Officers executed a search warrant around 12.15pm and discovered a cannabis cultivation in Commercial Road in Leven with an estimated street value of up to £180,000.

Three men aged 25, 28 and 33 were arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They were due to appear before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Stuart Hay from Levenmouth Police Station said: “This was a significant recovery and sends a clear message that drugs have no place in our community.

“Intelligence from members of the public is essential in helping us identify and disrupt individuals engaged in drugs supply and I would continue to encourage anyone with information or concerns to get in touch.
