Glenrothes man stole bank card and medical equipment

Michael Dodds, who is on remand, appeared by video link before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Dodds, 32, of no fixed abode, admitted that on September 20 this year at Burns Tavern in Leslie he found a bank card without attempting to discover the true owner and stole it.

Hide AdHe also admitted on the same date at the Shell Garage in Roxburgh Road in Glenrothes he pretended to be the owner of someone else’s debit card and used it to pay for goods by fraud.
He admitted on October 6 this year at The Wash in Alexander Road, Glenrothes he stole a tablet computer and at Lloyds Pharmacy in Minto Place, Glenrothes he stole a quantity of medical equipment. He admitted committing all of these offences while subject to an undertaking to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Dodds further admitted on June 12 this year at The Co-operative in Woodside Road, Glenrothes he stole a quantity of laundry products.
He also admitted: On July 5 this year at Tesco Express in South Parks Road, Glenrothes he stole household products, on July 17 this year in the same place he stole domestic items; on July 25 this year at the same place he stole air fresheners and on July 27 in the same place he stole household products.

Hide AdSheriff Thornton deferred sentence until December 15 to allow for a drug treatment and testing order assessment.
