Coronavirus: Fife sees drop in hospital cases

Coronavirus cases are on the rise in Fife.

The number of cases of coronavirus destected in Fife is approaching 400, according to new figures released today, but there are now less people currently in hospital than before.

The latest statistics released by the Scottish Government today show that Fife now has 397 confirmed cases, up from 383 on Monday.

Fife currently has 117 people in hospital with coronavirus, with five in intensive care.

This is down slightly from yesterday, where 121 people were in hospital, and six in intensive care.

A total of 32,855 people in Scotland have been tested, of these, 6,358 tests were positive.

615 patients who tested positive have died in Scotland. 15 of those deaths are known to have been in Fife.
