The contract will see the company undertake the maintenance of 81 floating aids to navigation, two mooring buoys and 35 fixed aids to navigation.
The work will involve recovering a substantial number of buoys from the water on a yearly basis, when all mooring materials will be calibrated.
Worn materials will be renewed, buoys will be power washed to remove marine growth and lights and telemetry checked. Lighthouses and fixed aids to navigation will also be visited and maintained regularly. Briggs Marine will utilise their vessel, the MV Cameron as well as a selection of other Company vessels as required.
